DevOps Engineer

The Role

We’re seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for optimizing and automating key processes, as well as assisting customers in their transition to more modern solutions. Your ability to navigate both older and newer technologies is a key factor for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Qualifications for this role include: - Strong familiarity with both older systems and modern technologies to assist in transitional phases for clients. - Extensive experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration. - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, notably Terraform. - A clear understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git. - Strong communication skills, particularly in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

- Optimize current systems for scalability, speed, and robustness. - Use containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes, to streamline deployment and scaling. - Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools. - Consult and support clients in transitioning from older systems to modernized, automated solutions. - Clearly explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner to clients and less technical team members.

Experience

We are open to a range of experience levels, but a proven track record in DevOps roles or similar is highly beneficial. A portfolio or list of projects demonstrating your skills in both older and newer technologies is preferred.
